min’s 30 sec of “fame”
I got half deceived and half cajoled into doing a TV news interview by a university friend for Channel 8 & U. Not for Little Red Heels alone but to give an online store perspective. The topic was on blogshop trends and its relation to Singpost.
Zi is not in Singapore so I had to go for it alone. Boo. Wish you were there with me, Zi!
But we still remember to do some subtle advertising, like lying the packages with the ILOVELRH.COM label faced up and wearing our manufactured Honey Bee Floral Flare Dress. Heh.
Quite an experience but I am not sure if I want to do it again. Haha. And that’s my 30 seconds to “fame”.

fashion fades, style remains
You heard those wise words from every girl’s love, Coco Chanel. This series, Quote Unquote, we did a little tribute to the famous quotations made by this French couturier.
(Speaking of which, hands up those who will be watching the movie, Coco Before Chanel! It will be opened on 27 August, and you can be quite sure to see Zi and I in the theatre.)
We ain’t near couture, but we subscribe dearly to the concept of style. As long as you wear them right and with attitude, nothing anyone says can or should bring you doubts. Carry it with confidence!
Also, you can call it a quarter life thing, but of late, I have been overwhelmed with the thought that,
you should most definitely make yourself feel pretty every single day.
If you want to dress up a certain style, wear it. If you want to buy something, buy it – within reasonable means of course.
Try it, this thought is liberating. Even if it’s just school you are visiting, the usual workplace you are going to, or the same old friends and/or boyfriend you are meeting. Why? Because we are literally at our P R I M E . Why scrimp and/or look the same old when you can be better? Not for people to judge you, but solely for you yourself alone.

Growing with Little Red Heels
I decided to compile some of the very kind features that were done on Little Red Heels from when we first started in 2006. I am sure there are some interviews and especially a video (awkward one with the interviewers speaking in chinese, and us replying in english) out there I missed, but will add them to the new Media section (right) as and when I find them.
